Hello! My name is Christina Danner, I grew-up in Sonoma and am now raising my 3 children here with my husband Steve who also owns a business in town (Steve's Smog & Auto Repair). I've always enjoyed baking with my mother and grandmothers. In 2003 when I made the cake for my cousins baby shower, her guests asked where they could find the cake - and one of them insisted that I go into business (thank you Lynn!) I've always had a creative bone and really enjoyed the creative outlet with my new medium - cake! My brother Rick (www.RickHardinMusic.com) actually named my business & said, "because occasionally you need cake for an occasion!" Since that time, I've been working to perfect my craft. I've never taken a cake decorating class, I learned most by trial-and-error, and by reading directions here-and-there. I like to just go for it & see what happens! When my youngest children started school, we decided it was time for me to open a bakery, because until then I had done everything on my own.
